IMPORTANT PREORDER INFORMATION

2025 Preorders opened at 12 noon CST on July 29th.  Preorders will be shipped out once inventory is received from the manufacturer and it has passed quality control checks. Once all preorders have been shipped our remaining stock will be added to the website as ready to ship. 

We originally expected the planners and notebooks to be to us by mid-September so preorders would ship out late September.  However there may be a slight delay in the production (discussed in a more detail below) which would delay our receipt of the planners and notebooks until October. Rest assured, preorders will be shipped out as quickly as possible so you can have your planner well before the new year. 

As mentioned in our planner reveal videos we intend to produce our 2025 planners and notebooks on 68gsm Sanzen Tomoe River paper. Sanzen just produced their very first batch of 68gsm and as expected, based on the differences in variations of the 52gsm version over the years, the performance of the new Sanzen 68gsm TRP is slightly different than the old 68gsm paper.  We received a sample of the Sanzen 68gsm and will be testing it with different pens and sharing this on a video on YouTube the week of July 29th. 

If we determine, during testing, that the quality of the new 68gsm Sanzen TRP is not up to our standards we will revert to the 52gsm Sanzne Tomoe River paper for our 2025 planners and notebooks. In this case the planners and notebooks should be to us in September.

If we determine, during testing, that the quality of the new 68gsm Sanzen TRP is up to our standards we will move forward with production on the 68gsm paper for our 2025 planners and notebooks.  In this case the planners and notebooks may not be to us until October.

Our ultimate goal is to provide you with a product you love and use. As such, our decision on the paper for our 2025 planners and notebooks is very important to us.  We did anticipate, based on our experience with the changes from old TRP to new TRP to Sanzen TRP over the years that the 68gsm Sanzen Tomoe River paper would not perform identically to the old version. However, we want to ensure that it does perform to our standards so that you can use and love your planners and notebooks.  We will share our honest thoughts on the paper during the testing video and will keep you updated on our decision, as well as the timing of preorder shipments along the way. 

UPDATE: Though we'd planned to produce our 2025 planners and notebooks on 68 gsm Sanzen Tomoe River paper, after testing the paper we've found it does not meet our standards.  As such we will be producing using 52gsm Sanzen Tomoe River paper. We did not take this decision lightly and hope you understand the need to make this adjustment.  Additionally, we are working on a 2nd paper option to provide an alternative to Sanzen 52 gsm TRP for those that want something a little thicker with less shadowing/ghosting. We'll provide an update once we have confirmation on this.
